I'm an enthusiast for natural history who recently graduated with a BS in biology, and an aspiring evolutionary biologist. I'm very interested in the evolutionary history of vertebrates and their phylogeny, as well as paleontology. I make edits about new species, split species, major taxonomic changes, and sometimes fossil species. I base my major edits for recent taxa off of the databases that Wikipedia primarily relies on ([https://www.worldbirdnames.org/new/ IOC] for birds, [https://www.mammaldiversity.org/ MammalDiversity] for mammals, [https://reptile-database.reptarium.cz/ ReptileDatabase] for reptiles, and [https://amphibiaweb.org/index.html AmphibiaWeb] and the [https://amphibiansoftheworld.amnh.org/ Amphibian Species of the World] for amphibians). Ask me if you have any enquiries!

Currently I'm on a project to revamp all the pages for fossil ray-finned fish genera to both keep them up-to-date and place them under the site's standardized taxonomy system. I also enjoy visiting museums to photograph fossil specimens of taxa that are not yet represented on Wikimedia.
