• mathematical typesetting and fixing them (making math look fancier)

To make a long story short, I change formulas like this:

: x = (-b +/- √(b²-4ac)) / 2a

into this:

: $x\; =\; \backslash frac\{-b\; \backslash pm\; \backslash sqrt\{b^2\; -\; 4ac\}\}\{2a\}$

Doesn't it look much better?

Here are my policies:

• single superscripts and subscripts have braces taken off to reduce file size.
• single indentation made for single-line math formulas.
