I have been using Wikipedia as a resource for over 15 years, and its principles of peer collaboration, constructive dissent, and mutual respect really speak to me. The open exchange of knowledge is something I value, and I see Wikipedia as a place where small contributions can have a lasting impact.
With a background in STEM, I'm naturally curious about the "why" and "how" of things. More recently, my interests have expanded to algorithmic and data biases in AI, ethics in technology, cybersecurity, renewable energy, and of course, Wikipedia editing.
