If an article needs references but you are unable to find them yourself, you can tag the article with the templates {{tl|unreferenced}} or {{tl|Primarysources}}. It is often more useful to indicate specific statements that need references, by tagging those statements with {{tl|fact}}, which can be placed in the same place you would place an inline reference.
