I am a French amateur entomologist, retired un U.K.

I was first interested in butterflies, then in beetles.

I studied several exotic groups and described many insects new to science.

For these studies I visited many entomological museums in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom and United States.

I met great entomologists like Stephan von Breuning, Gastor Ruter, Jean-Pierre Lacroix, Vincent Allard, Claude Herbulot or Hervé de Tougoët.
