I am Jebcubed, a person who likes to revert vandalism. Not only do I edit Wikipedia, I also edit [https://halopedia.org/User:Jebcubed Halopedia] too!

Why I do this

My main reasons for doing this come from the fact that schools teach that Wikipedia isn't a reliable source. I resolved to help make it reliable by stopping people from vandalizing it.

==Methodology==

I will revert an edit if:

  • It is obviously vandalism
  • I know enough about the page itself to know that the edit adds false information
  • Random sections are removed without explanation

I won't touch a page if the edit doesn't immediately strike me as vandalism and I lack the knowledge to know if the addition is true or not.

Personal Views

I know that Wikipedia is supposed to allow all people to edit, but I do tend to wish that all IP editors would have their edits treated as Pending review. I also think that any page whose topic matter is the subject of current controversy should be semi-protected until the controversy dies down.
