{{Userboxbottom}}Hello there. I'm MallardTV! I’ve been contributing to Wikipedia (on this account) since May 17, 2022, though I first made an anonymous edit a few years before that. My main areas of interest are history, diabetes (especially Type 1 Diabetes, which I have), and just about anything else that catches my attention. I love the idea of sharing knowledge that anyone can access—it feels pretty great to know I'm part of something so open.
I'm especially focused on improving the Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) article and adding more coverage there. I enjoy making new articles, though it can be tricky to find topics that haven't been covered yet but are still notable enough for an article. So, I often end up doing smaller edits across random pages.
I spend some time on WikiProject Medicine and WikiProject Pharmacology because of my work on diabetes-related topics, but I'm not officially part of either project. I also keep an eye on new changes to spot and fix vandalism, making sure things stay accurate.
Over time, my writing has definitely improved—I'm better at citing sources and making my articles more detailed. At the end of the day, I just want to see where my contributions go and have fun along the way.
