Jonathan Snowden is the author of the critically acclaimed book Total MMA: Inside Ultimate Fightinghttp://www.ecwpress.com/books/total_mma. Snowden, who graduated from The University of Georgia School of Law, joined the Army in the months after September 11, 2001. The hand to hand combat training he received there inspired him to further study the martial arts. Snowden has finished a follow up book, an MMA Encyclopediahttp://www.startribune.com/yourvoices/79426417.html, that will be published in winter 2010. He is currently working on a book with MMA fighter Shane Carwin, and writes regularly for a variety of websites and magazines.
