Arachno Creek

For those interested in Arachno Creek, it seems according to BGN research, the sourcing of the name only ties back to this account. Specifically, I’ve found that it ties back to a friend of mine, back when I was first on Wikipedia and we were in late middle school/early high school. While an earlier misunderstanding made me think he had denied being the origin, talking to him further, we’ve confirmed he is the origin of the name. Likewise, while I previously thought he may have been the one that led putting together the Wikipedia page and arguing that we found it in a book, it looks like that was primarily myself, again back in middle school/high school. Regardless, given the circumstances, I hadn't even realized that the article originated from this account.

This is, by no means, an acceptable basis of evidence for the creation of a page or naming of a geographic location and have had the page deleted off Wikipedia. I’ve also notified BGN to the situation and the name proposal has withdrawn.
