Eva Najman was an illustrator, painter and printmaker, working in London from the 1940s.

Najman was born in Berlin in 1923.{{cite web |title=NAJMAN Eva b. 1923 |url=https://www.artbiogs.co.uk/1/artists/najman-eva |publisher=Artist Biographies |accessdate=23 January 2020}} Originally Polish, she arrived in England in 1938 and was naturalised British in 1946.{{cite magazine |title=Eight Young Artists in Search of an Editor |magazine=The Strand Magazine |date=July 1947 |page=76 |volume=113 |issue=679 |last1=Anon.}} Her parents settled in Haifa.

During World War II, she served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. Afterwards, she studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts in London.

One of her early commissions was to illustrate the book jacket for John Moore's Brensham Village (1946).
