I'm a resident of eastern Canada, having lived in Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick and know these provinces and many of their communities and sub-regions fairly intimately. I also travel extensively in neighbouring Newfoundland and Labrador, New England and eastern Quebec - namely the Gaspé Peninsula, Bas-Saint-Laurent, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean and Côte-Nord regions.

I began editing Wikipedia in 2003 and I'm primarily interested in history, geography, and engineering articles, with some attention paid to conservation and environmental issues, transportation, and the Canadian military.

Plasma East was the name of an extremely obscure and now defunct punk band from Halifax, Nova Scotia - I first heard the name from a co-worker who was related to a band-member and thought it was kinda cool.
