Rick Amon is a volleyball player from Puerto Rico who played for the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) in NCAA tournaments, in which he excelled two years in a row as an 'outside hitter'. He studied at the University High School affiliated to the University of Puerto Rico's Río Piedras campus in the 1970's and was admitted to UCLA.

Currently a beach volleyball consultant to the Department of Sports and Recreation of Puerto Rico, he has also done volleyball consulting work in Kuwait, Egypt and other international locales.
