The kernel of enthusiasm is the [oversimplified] idea, "What if you just dumped a giant list of headwords and wrapped them all in 'annotated link', and what you get is kind of like a gem dictionary that is dynamically updatable." In practice, it is not particularly useful, but it's worth sandboxing and fucking around with for various parametric reasons. It has potential, if one were to do certain kinds of work to add value. This is a fling.
