On December 23rd, 1969 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canopus_2 Canopus II] - a two-stage [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rigel_(rocket) Riegle 04] rocket - was launched from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CELPA_(El_Chamical) Chamical space research centre], located on La Rioja province, Argentina.
