They had a son, Phillip Turner Loxton, on 18 December 1875 at Tungkillo.<
Elizabeth died aged 21 on 19 December 1875 at South Petherton. She was recorded as living at Saunders Creek.
William Loxton was charged with taking 13-year-old Mary Ellen Goodes without the consent of her parents on Sunday 13 February 1876. She was brought home by William's brother-in-law Thomas Talbot the following Friday. The Magistrate's Court allowed bail but committed him for trial in the Supreme Court.POLICE COURT.
