Rather than having to update my age every year I'll say I was born in 1971, graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1989, and waited nearly 15 years while spending thousands of dollars on various classes before I finally got my Bachelor's Degree in a single discipline. Fortunately it only took another 6 to get my Master's Degree.

Until 2004 I was an investigator for Defense Security Service, working under the Department of Defense, along with my father - a retired Minneapolis Police Detective Sergeant. I worked as the Operations Officer for Shamrock Investigations, the company he started after he retired. After my parents death I closed that business and became a Financial Advisor, and until 2015 owned my own insurance and investment agency. I have owned and run Templar Firearms Training LLC in Coon Rapids, MN since 2017 and recently went back into the insurance and financial industry, most recently as an Agency Development Manager for Colonial Life. In November of 2022 I was elected to the Coon Rapids City Council for Ward 3.

I have been married to an amazing woman since 2004 and have two great children, a girl and a boy. We live with two large dogs in Coon Rapids, MN.
