The Society of Ultrasound in Medical Education is an academic society committed to promoting ultrasound in medical education. Its goal is to help guide the development of best practices in teaching and testing of medical students, residents and other trainees in the field of clinical ultrasound.http://www.susme.org/about-2/ SUSME's membership consists of physicians, sonographers, other health care providers, students, and manufacturers of ultrasound equipment. The Society holds its annual meeting in conjunction with the annual AAMC meeting. On its web page SUSME maintains a number of online learning modules for ultrasound education as well as a curriculum database.
