Map of the Past is the forthcoming fifth studio album by British progressive rock band It Bites. It is scheduled for release on March 26 2012.

Map of the Past is a concept album inspired by the discovery of an old family photograph, and has been described by the band as "a highly personal journey that explores love, passion, jealousy, anger, remorse and loss through the eyes of a previous generation against the backdrop of Britain as it enters a new century and one of the most defining periods of its history."[http://www.itbites.com/index.html It Bites home page, February 6 2012]
