St. Thomas Central School was established by The Mar Thoma Church Educational Society in November 1990. It is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) under the Affiliation No: 9376. This School and its two sister institutions, St. Thomas Residential School and St. Thomas Higher Secondary School are situated in St. Thomas Nagar, a sprawling educational campus in sylvan surroundings on the outskirts of Trivandrum city. The distance of the school from the city centre is 13 km. The students of the St Thomas are popularly called Santhomites.

History

The school was established by the Mar Thoma Church Educational Society (MTCES)of the Malankara Marthoma Syrian Church

Campus

Located on the outskirts of Trivandrum city, St. Thomas Central School boasts of a lush 32 acre campus which it shares with it's sister institutions. The school has an artificial tennis court, a hockey field, a football ground and a basketball court cum skating rink.
