Patrick Glen Keeley aka The Rugged Dude is a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_presenter television personality] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Television_producer television producer] from [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thunder_Bay Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada]. In 2004, he legally changed his name to Rugged Dude Carson, on the advice of a marketing agency in Minneapolis.
For nine years RD produced and hosted the popular comedy-based fishing and
hunting show, [http://www.wildtv.ca/index.php?page=showinfo&show=officially-rugged Officially Rugged with RD]. At the highest point, the show
had a distribution of 52 million households in Canada and the United
States. The show is currently in syndication on various channels and
networks in North America.
In 2006, RD hosted a daily radio feature called "Rugged Radio," in Thunder
Bay on 105.3 The Giant.
In 2009, RD authored an on-line book called, “The Trip of a Lifetime.” He
has also written articles on fishing and hunting for various magazines and
newspapers.
The Rugged Dude is currently working on a new cooking show. The concept of the
show sees RD cooking wild fish and game front of a live studio audience.
A pilot was produced in the summer of 2009 and series production has started in 2010.
In 2009, The Rugged Dude was invited to co-host an episode of

with Bobby Flay] on Food Network. On this episode, RD grilled a whole

Personal Life
RD lives a very private life in a rustic, log style home in the
countryside thirty miles outside of Thunder Bay, Ontario. He has two
grown daughters from a previous marriage. His hobbies include playing the
drums, fishing, hunting and working in the garden.
