For the Love of Hatred is the debut novel by Gregory Alan published in 2000 by Writers Club Press. The author acknowledged Scott Dubay as his 'Split-Apart' - an homage to the movie The Butcher's Wife starring Demi Moore and Jeff Daniels.

Synopsis

For the Love of Hatred is the story of Jason Roberts, a young man struggling to cope with the unimaginably horrific murder of his partner. With the help of his childhood friend and roommate, Todd, as well as a couple of other unlikely heroes, Jason fights to right the savage wrong and in the process, discovers more about himself and the nature of humanity than he ever imagined existed.
