I am a politics and international relations student primarily interested in South Korean political history, and I'm also interested in Korean history, East Asian politics, the history of political thought, and world political history more generally. Additionally, I have a good knowledge of German and French and a working knowledge of academic Korean; I'm also aiming to learn Mandarin and Japanese. My particular specialism is the roots and historical development of ideologies and political structures in South Korea under the military dictators (Park, Chun, Roh), and the legacy of this period in modern Korean politics.
