My first camera back in the 70s was a trusty old manual, built-like-a-tank, Praktica. I upgraded to a Canon A-1, that was stolen from my London flat in 1990, and replaced (thanks to my insurance company) with a Canon T90.
My first digital camera was an Olympus D600L (the C600L in Europe), followed by a Canon EOS D30. I now use a Canon EOS 5D Mark II and several Canon EF lenses: EF 50mm {{f/}}1.4 , a 24-105mm {{f/}}4.0L IS USM zoom, a 28-135 {{f/}}3.5-5.6 IS USM zoom, a 16-35mm {{f/}}2.8L USM zoom and a 100-400mm {{F/}}4.5-5.6L IS USM zoom. I also have a couple of 550EX flashes, a Canon ST-E2 flash transmitter and the Canon Lens Converter FD-EOS (new in box). All my recent scans have been done using a Canon CanoScan 9900F scanner.
A couple of years ago I found a new-in-box ("NIB") A1 on eBay to replace the one that was stolen and since then I have been slowly adding other cameras to my collection:
