Millenium is a vegan fine-dining restaurant in Oakland, California.

History

The restaurant was established in 1994 in the Hotel California on Geary Street in San Francisco's Nob Hill historic district in a traditional, elegant dining room. The restaurant's atmosphere was described as comparing with most gourmet establishments. As of 2009 the restaurant offered a "Convert a Carnivore" weekly event on Wednesdays. =Criticism=

In August 2015, after the restaurant had moved from San Francisco to Oakland, the San Francisco Chronicle's Michael Bauer said they could have used the move to update their menu but didn't, saying they continued to "pile on the ingredients like a wool blanket on spring flowers." He gave the restaurant a mostly-critical review, mentioning the "Brik Purse" as a dish that showed off the kitchen's talent and saying he "marveled at the crust", but criticizing the plate as overcrowded with elements, allowing none to shine. He also criticized the service.
