Action 2020 is a group of 30 youth organisations committed to serve India and to make the country as a Developed Nation by 2020, under the mentorship of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam , former President of India. Activities and Projects
= Collective achievement =
The Constituent organisations are youth organistions with working professionals and students as members/volunteers. They are all backed by more than 10000 such volunteers. Individually, they are taking up several projects to help the poor and weaker sections. Collectively, all the Constituent organisations have undertaken more than 1000 projects, covering nearly 2 lakh beneficiaries and involving a money outlay of Rs.8 million Indian Rupees. Besides, they have also undertaken some common projects.
