Renold plc was founded in the mid 19th century by Hans Renold and operates in nineteen countries as of 2012. Their head office has had a number of locations but all in the south suburbs of Manchester.

They make chains, gears and couplings for industries like theme-parks, motorcycling & mining.

Also they are not members of the FTSE 250 Index.
