The name Vulcan's Forge is from Diane Duane's novels regarding Star Trek and Vulcan, and before that from the episode Yesteryear (Star Trek:_The Animated Series) by D. C. Fontana; in particular it is referenced in Spock's World, and I always liked the concept. It does not refer to the Vulcan's Forge from the Star Trek Enterprise series; their take on Vulcan history may be officially canon but I don't think much of it.
Oh, and WP:FANCRUFT is a non-argument in deletion discussions, and borderline offensive.
