Hypothesis: over 75% of articles created by new users (less then 25 edits at time of creation) will end up deleted/redirected within a month after creation. Number is much lower for experienced users.

50 Articles created between 13:47 en 14:33 3 December 2010 were manually. (N) behind an article means the article creator was new (<25 edits), which 13 article creators were. One page was a dab and is ignored. That means 13/49 ~26 % of the pages was created by new users.

Less then 2 hours after creation all articles made by a new users (<25 edits) are deleted or up for speedy with 3 exceptions (of which one is prodded and one tagged by a copyvio bot). Haven't checked the other articles, but I noticed one article from an experienced user has been speedied. Yoenit (talk) 14:42, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Results:

  • Out of 13 articles from new users 11 are deleted (some repeatedly). That is ~80 %
  • Out of 36 articles from experienced users 1 is deleted, 3 %
