::I don't think any such additions are required anywhere. Unfortunately I'm not able to keep tabs on all sports articles on Wikipedia, but I think this is a prime example of what we call fancruft. This sort of info is only relevant to a very limited number of people. The attendance figures are available for individual games, but I don't think there's any need to post the totals and averages, especially not in the lead section of any article. – PeeJay 13:04, 24 January 2025 (UTC)

:::I doubt it's only relevant to a very limited number of people. I think it's just as relevant as a lot of other information on Wikipedia. Many large websites with millions of visitors, like EFS, ESPN, TM and World Football publish average attendance figures. If those figures were totally irrelevant, those pages probably wouldn't exist or feature that information. The figures are useful for people who attend sports games, for example. Millions of people visit games at dozens of different stadiums. If a club has attendance figures close to capacity, it lets people know that tickets might be hard to get. Some clubs, on the other hand, play in huge stadiums but have very small crowds, which could make the atmosphere at the stadium feel terrible. 80.57.47.217 (talk) 14:26, 25 January 2025 (UTC)
