Hi, HughD. I work for Alderman Cardenas and he has a couple of changes he'd like to make it on his Wikipedia page. Is it possible for his office to send you a doc with the article he'd like to have? It would include all the sources you'd need. Otherwise, how can we do it ourselves? Thanks.
Hello, Alba.anguiano, and again welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for contacting me. I'm sorry I did not get back sooner. I especially appreciate your openness about your relationship to the subject of the article.
The alderman is not a priority with me with Wikipedia, but I can make time to look over your work. Before we begin...
First, may I ask, do you understand Wikipedia's definition of notability, and do you believe the subject is notable? Let us review WP:NOTE, WP:NOTEBLP and WP:NPOL and discuss. Some would say notability requires coverage of the subject in national newspapers.
Next, we should understand Wikipedia's policy on promotional content, WP:PROMO.
Thank you for expressing your willingness to provide citations and to do things yourself. It would be helpful if you were willing to learn to do footnotes; see Help:Footnotes.
