This covers the article on multiple chemical sensitivity, it also covers the topic of "chronic Lyme disease" and any other fake disease, plus "recovered memory". Guy (help!) 08:02, 24 June 2020 (UTC)
:Guy I don't follow what this means or which pages are included - is this only for pages that are in the Fringe or Pseudoscience categories? Or might this involve any mention an administrator deems to be "fringe" on any page? I have an interest in Alternative Views rather than the bizarre evidence-less ridiculous topics in Fringe.
:I do not understand what this "recovered memory" thing refers to because it's vague. One of the mainstream PTSD criteria is inability to recall parts of a trauma - which is well known in combat - would that be under "recovered memory"? Could any recognized diagnosis with either amnesia or memory issues be interpreted as "recovered memory"? Like TBI.
:What are these sanctions and conditions?
:I notice that you previously misinterpreted several comments I have made including you removing a comment about "pushing my view" on CFS when I posted about a different topic entirely, and replying in a way on the MCS page that seemed to suggest that you thought I disagreed with the content of the page. Not so! I was simply pointing out it was better not to use certain terms to respond to those with entirely different views. No need for that when the science is clear and that's all we are following. :I was looking at WPMED-related pages, and I don't think that LDAM should be handled as a separate subject. Would you consider adding that information to Lyme disease#Society and culture and redirecting the title there? (This page isn't on my watchlist, so ping me if you need me.) WhatamIdoing (talk) 15:33, 7 August 2020 (UTC)
::Thanks for your suggestion User:WhatamIdoing. There shouldn't be an issue with notability since I resubmitted it since the CDC has been running a Lyme Disease Awareness Month campaign [https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2011/s0520_lymedisease.html for a number of years] now, focusing on prevention and early diagnosis but mostly prevention - it seems prevalence is increasing and affecting more areas. It does appear to have had significant notable sources deleted since I submitted it. It's also on the List of month long observances, most of which have their own pages eg Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with the health ones in the WP:MED project - although perhaps that is for those with prevention / health initiatives only. There's also already categories for the pages for many other May observances, US observances, environmental ones, etc. I haven't edited the Lyme Disease page since I don't know the topic. - Amousey (they/them pronouns) (talk) 02:27, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
:::It'd be normal for an ongoing notable social event to be mentioned in the article, and the fact that it's not might encourage reviewers to believe that it must not be notable.
:::I've never been convinced that Breast Cancer Awareness Month should have its own article. I just stripped some information out of it about events that didn't happen during that month. That section was almost all outdated primary sources (think: Komen has a fundraiser, sourced to Komen's fundraising website). It should probably be merged to Breast cancer awareness instead of being kept as a separate article. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:20, 8 August 2020 (UTC)

You have been warned. jps (talk) 14:36, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
:talk - I have noted your false accusation of POV pushing and false accusation of adding incorrect information - and your removal of the message above from my talked page is something I decided to revert. I have commented on the article's talk page. I suggest you consider whether your baseless bad faith accusation - which you repeated on the talk page - is conducive to the editing environment on WP and why you repeated it after realizing that my edit was entirely accurate. Amousey (they/them pronouns) (talk) 22:44, 29 July 2020 (UTC)
::I have become convinced that my first instinct here was correct. I just undid a number of edits you made on Satanic ritual abuse that represent a naked WP:POVPUSH. I suggest you take a break from editing WP:FRINGE articles. If you do not, we can report your actions to WP:AE and ask for sanction. jps (talk) 20:21, 30 July 2020 (UTC)
:::In sociology a moral panic is not the same as a hoax, and two reverts of a categorization set by another is not a "POV push" since it's returning the page to its previous consensus.
