Hi Atomsmith...at Microchip Technology, you put back in the broken (red) link to the non-existent MiWi article...are you planning to write that article? If not, then I'll fix the red link. If you are, since you look new-ish, it would be a good idea to create it here in your user space, or perhaps talk about it on the Microchip Technology talk page, so that other editors can look at it and give you some tips on getting it accepted. - Dan Dank55 (talk) 03:23, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

:OK, I will remove the hyperlink, but not the word. My main point was that MiWi, a Microchip-originated spec, does indeed deserve to be mentioned on Microchip's page. I'm also a little confused as to why a red link is unacceptable on Microchip Technology, yet apparently acceptable on IEEE 802.15.4. Atomsmith (talk) 03:51, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

::Speaking of red links, a suggestion: do something about the red link at Atomsmith. Go to WP:Userboxes, pick out a few you like that describe you, and I'll put them on your userpage (some of them are a little finicky). You might want to describe yourself in a sentence or two.

::I do happen to know something about what it takes to get a tech article accepted. Generally, if news.google.com turns up no hits at all for a product, as is the case for "MiWi", then it's not going to make the cut (at this time). But I did find the MiWi page on Microhip's site just now, and I'm actually interested in cheaper implementations of mesh networks...do you guys have any idea how much cheaper it will be, and is anyone buying it yet?
