A genuine question

I hope you give me a genuine answer to this, instead of citing subjective essays like WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS.

Would you nominate articles such as Untitled Steven Spielberg film or Untitled Alejandro G. Iñárritu film for deletion, or are only upcoming Indian film articles subject to deletion? Krimuk2.0 (talk) 06:09, 1 April 2025 (UTC)

:{{ping|Krimuk2.0}}, It honestly does not sound like you want a genuine answer, although I do need clarification of your intent behind the question. It sounds like a veiled accusation of prejudice and/or bigotry. I know we have disagreements with various things in the film-related space, but there are non-accusatory ways to ask questions. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:10, 3 April 2025 (UTC)

SolarSPELL Article

Hello @CNMall41. Thank you for your feedback on Draft:SolarSpell. I have gotten some feedback from other Wikipedia editors and rewritten the entire article in *hopefully* a more neutral tone. I was wondering if you could read through it again and suggest any specific changes or additions I should make in the article before I resubmit. Thank you! Giraffe1989 (talk) 17:26, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

:Nothing specific. If you feel it is suitable, you are free to submit. I do see a lot of the previous tone removed which is good. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:38, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

[[List of programs broadcast by ARY Digital]] - EC protect?

Hi CNMall41, the history of this article is a mess due to socks. What do you think about requesting EC protection? S0091 (talk) 23:15, 23 April 2025 (UTC)

:I would definitely support that. At this point, I firmly believe they are behind the UPE of the SCOT sock farm. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:12, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

::I just requested semi but noted I was considered requesting EC protection but not sure what the bar is - WP:RFPP#List of programs broadcast by ARY Digital. Request to review drafts

Hello,

I appreciate the helpful welcome message you sent me a few days ago in reference to:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:K._Scott_Griffith

I added a COI on my talk page for the articles I plan on contributing to. Please take a look at it again to check sources and see if the language is neutral.

I also have started a page for Larry A. Wansley in my Sandbox. Would appreciate it if you think he is noteworthy enough to start an article on him before I build out that draft fully. I know him as I met him once. The following is his book and a few articles in the news about him.

https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/825873/2019/02/22/the-cowboys-larry-wansley-is-an-nfl-pioneer-heres-how-an-undercover-fbi-agent-revolutionized-player-development/

:{{ping|Farhin Ali}}, Thanks for the note. I would recommend placing it on your userpage or the talk page of each draft so it will be easier to see and you won't get questioned by other editors. As far as the draft, it is currently submitted and someone will review shortly. Good luck and thanks for your contributions. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:53, 24 April 2025 (UTC)

United SC (1894)

Hey, I just got your ping at Draft:United Sports Club. How dare you claim that I duplicated anything? I currently have [https://xtools.wmcloud.org/pages/en.wikipedia.org/Barr%20Theo 1,002 articles] and not a single one is a non-attributed duplicate. I had no idea of the existence of this draft until this very moment.

I already had this page under my radar ever since I created the Wynn brothers (Henri and Edouard) all the way back in December. This is merely a sad coincidence. Kind regards. Barr Theo (talk) 18:02, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

:{{ping|Barr Theo}}.....I wouldn't use an argument from authority. You act like I am making an accusation that you did something nefarious. You had no idea of its existence, but now you do. Should I not ask for clarification because you may be offended? Please change your tone and re-read what I wrote. There is an article in the mainspace and one in draft at AfC. Do you have a recommendation on what to do here? Merge? Overwrite? Decline draft? ????--CNMall41 (talk) 18:13, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

::Nefarious?? More like outrageous and scandalous!! ...sorry for my tone. I took it from some 17th-century French nobleman.

::Anyways, I suppose that the best course of action is to wait six months and let the draft fade into oblivion. As if it had never existed. Kind regards. Barr Theo (talk) 19:12, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

:::Thanks, I think I can sense the humor now. Forgive me for not seeing it in the beginning. Will wait a reply from the other editor but if there is anything useful in that draft it may be good to incorporate. I did not dig too deep but believe it was translated from the French version. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:36, 25 April 2025 (UTC)

I have also checked all links to ensure that they are correct. Can you please review and move to main space? Thank you so much. StudioDrafts (talk) 16:08, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

:Answered on the draft page. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:39, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

::I apologize for misunderstanding, I am a novice and learning. I removed the section completely and resubmitted. I very much appreciate your help. StudioDrafts (talk) 00:40, 3 May 2025 (UTC)

Second review

Hello! Concerning the draft: Stefano Cafarotti I have implemented the requested changes, added reliable secondary sources, and restructured the draft according to Wikipedia’s standards for notability and verifiability. See WilkinsonEyre and all associated articles. Just noticed you're back at J-P Conte, thought you might find this interesting. Quite certain there's a link here. Thanks for taking a chainsaw to those abysmal sources. MediaKyle (talk) 16:54, 30 April 2025 (UTC)

Follow-up on Draft:Rahat Mahajan

Hello CNMall41,

Thank you again for your earlier feedback on Draft:Rahat Mahajan and your permission to resubmitt. I have now:

  • Shortened the draft significantly to focus only on verifiable biographical details and the subject’s most notable work
  • Removed promotional or subjective language in line with WP:NPOV
  • Ensured that all content is backed by independent, reliable sources with properly formatted
  • Fully disclosed my COI and paid editing status on my user page

If you have time, I would greatly appreciate another review or any additional guidance you may have.

Thank you again for your time and support.

Follow-up on Draft:Coney Island Film Festival

:Hi @CNMall41 — thank you for reviewing the draft and for offering to help improve it. I’d really appreciate your assistance with sourcing and cleanup. Please feel free to make any edits you think are necessary, or let me know how you'd prefer to approach it. I’m happy to collaborate and learn from the process.

Thanks again for taking the time and for leaving those references on the Talk page — very helpful!

Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 14:29, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

:{{ping|Albieabbiati}}, Thanks for the note. I took a quick look and see nothing has been done. The note left is that it needs more sources as the majority of the draft has none. Please refer to the note and make progress on the draft. If you are able to do that then I would consider assisting thereafter, not before. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:48, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

::Got it. Apologies, I misunderstood! Albieabbiati (talk) 17:14, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

::Hi @CNMall41 — I've trimmed the draft based on your feedback, removed the unsourced material, and kept only content backed by reliable third-party sources. I’d really welcome your thoughts or any direct edits you’d like to make from here. Thanks again for your time and support!

::— Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 17:25, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

:::{{ping|Albieabbiati}}, No, no you have not. Once you do, please also read WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the appropriate disclosure if applicable. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:34, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

::::Hi @CNMall41 — would you be willing to point out a specific example or two of what still needs improvement? I’m trying to get this to a publishable state and genuinely appreciate any constructive feedback.

::::Just to clarify: I’m not being paid or hired to create this article. I’m a music and film fan, a longtime Brooklynite, and just thought it was surprising that a 20+ year-old festival like this didn’t already have a page. It should probably be obvious from how much I’ve struggled to get it into shape! That said, I’m happy to make any changes that would help move it forward.

::::Thanks again,

::::— Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 17:52, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::I am unsure how to guide you any further. The notes left from the initial review on the draft, the talk page of the draft (including sources you could easily implement into the draft but have not), and my comments above note that the draft has unsourced content. If you look at the draft, you can easily see there is still an entire section with unsourced content. Feel free to continue the cleanup and resubmit but I would be unwilling to assist any further at this point. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:56, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

::::::Hi @CNMall41 I’ve resubmitted the draft after removing the unsourced content and keeping only material supported by independent, third-party sources. I also adjusted the formatting to better align with WP:MOS.

::::::I think this version should address the core issues you raised. Thanks for your earlier notes. Here’s to hoping I got this right! Let me know your thoughts if you're still interested.

::::::— Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 15:56, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::::{{ping|Albieabbiati}}, normally I would ignore you at this point but it is pretty frustrating when I repeated something four times and you still have not gotten it. Tell me what about [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft%3AConey_Island_Film_Festival&diff=1290401301&oldid=1286896103 your edits here] removed all the unsourced content. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:30, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

::::::::@CNMall41 I hear you. I've made a real effort to follow your guidance and remove the unsourced content. If I’ve missed anything, it’s not for lack of trying — I’m learning this process as I go. That said, I genuinely want to get this right.

::::::::The previous draft included entire sections like “Notable Films and Participants” that were removed. What’s left now is material backed by sources like Brooklyn Eagle, Brooklyn Paper, Time Out, Brooklyn Rail, and MovieMaker — all independent, third-party publications.

::::::::If there’s something specific still in the draft that you believe is unsupported, feel free to point it out and I’ll address it directly. I’m here to improve the page, not defend mistakes.

::::::::— Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 17:52, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::::::@CNMall41 Just to clarify — the version you linked to was before I did the full cleanup. That version still had the "Notable Films and Participants" section and other unsourced content, and you’re right to call that out.

:::::::::Since then, I’ve replaced the entire draft. The current version removes all that material and keeps only content supported by third-party sources like Brooklyn Eagle, Time Out, Brooklyn Rail, and MovieMaker.

:::::::::If you (or any reviewer) still see anything unsupported in the latest version, I’m open to addressing it. Thanks again for your time.

:::::::::— Albieabbiati Albieabbiati (talk) 17:59, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

::::::::::Here’s the current version for reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Coney_Island_Film_Festival Albieabbiati (talk) 18:00, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::::::::I see your forum shopping got you assistance already. The version I linked to was NOT the version you speak of. In fact, I just removed the unsourced content that was on the live page and should have never been sent to mainspace as such. Take care. --CNMall41 (talk) 18:16, 14 May 2025 (UTC)

::::::::::::So confusing. When I look at the page history, it looks like you did some wording and link cleanup. Were those the unsourced edits you were referring to? I wasn’t sure, because I thought I had already removed that material in the final draft before submitting. If something slipped through, that’s on me. I’m just trying to understand what I missed.

::::::::::::I’m still learning how to navigate Wikipedia standards, so I’ve been trying to follow each step as best I can. I also had to look up what "forum shopping" meant and for the record, unless I'm losing my memory I never asked anyone besides you for help on this article.

::::::::::::Appreciate your time either way.

Request Regarding Edits on Indian Television Serial Articles

To: @CNMall41 (Wikipedia Editor)

Dear CNMall41,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to respectfully share my concerns regarding your involvement in edits related to Indian Star Plus serials on Wikipedia.

Indian television serials, particularly those aired on Star Plus, hold deep cultural significance and emotional value for millions of viewers around the world. These pages often reflect detailed narratives, character arcs, and developments that are important to fans and followers.

With due respect, I kindly request that you refrain from interfering in the articles related to Indian serials unless there are clear violations of Wikipedia’s content policies. Furthermore, I would like to highlight the contributions of the Wikipedia user NeetaBeera. Their edits and summaries are, in my view and that of many other fans, accurate, detailed, and made in good faith to enrich the articles. I kindly ask that their contributions not be removed or altered unnecessarily.

I understand that Wikipedia has standards and processes to ensure neutrality and verifiability. However, it is equally important to respect culturally significant content and the efforts of editors who are knowledgeable and passionate about such topics.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Best regards,

[Gaslasy eelipwse] Gaslasy eelipwze (talk) 11:32, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

Draft:Experience Travel Group

Hello! Thanks very much for reviewing my draft and leaving a comment. Hopefully I've neutralised it now, but if there is anything I can do to improve, please do let me know! I'm happy to learn :) SiobhanTot (talk) 12:45, 19 May 2025 (UTC)

:I recently came across a treasure trove of press coverage that allowed me to thoroughly rebuild the article on Experience Travel Group from the ground up. I’ve made multiple changes and resubmitted to try to ensure it fully complies with Wikipedia’s policies on neutral tone, verifiability, and no original research.

:The updated draft now includes detailed citations from independent, reliable sources including *BBC News*, *The Times*, *The Telegraph*, *Condé Nast Traveller*, *Green Matters*, *Aspire Travel Club*, and others. All self-published references have been either removed or properly attributed. Promotional tone has been neutralised, and each paragraph has been checked for inline citations.

:Please let me know if there’s anything else I can improve. I really appreciate your time and the opportunity to contribute a policy-compliant page.

:With thanks,

:Siobhan SiobhanTot (talk) 10:47, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

::{{ping|SiobhanTot}}, unfortunately, I do not believe you understood the comment left with the decline. The draft reads like a brochure the company would hand out to investors. This is an encyclopedia, not a website for the company. No amount of press coverage can overcome the layout, promotional style writing, and lack of neutral tone. --CNMall41 (talk) 16:43, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

:::Hi again, and thanks so much for taking the time to review this.

:::I've now fully rewritten and restructured the article based on your earlier feedback. I took a much stricter approach to tone and layout this time, aiming to align closely with accepted examples like Audley Travel. Anything that could read as promotional or descriptive has been removed or reworded, and I’ve gone through each section to ensure it complies with Wikipedia’s policies on neutrality, verifiability, and no original research.

:::Any self-published content is either attributed or omitted. I’ve also removed subjective claims such as NPS and taken care not to include any evaluative language.

:::I searched for critical or negative coverage in reliable sources and couldn’t find anything suitable to include. If there’s anything I’ve still missed or could improve, I’d really appreciate any further pointers.

:::Thanks again — I really appreciate your time and the opportunity to contribute. SiobhanTot (talk) 10:53, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

::::Again, I would not be willing to assist at this point, especially when you removed the previous AfD comment tags. You are free to resubmit at anytime through the AfC process however. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:40, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Hello. Regarding to this edit seems to be problem formatting with en dash (–). At the best! –HirowoWiki (📝) 07:07, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

:Not sure what that means. I did a revert but did I restore something that shouldn't have been? Let me know and I will gladly revert what needs to be. --CNMall41 (talk) 07:10, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

::Ah, okay. I will fixed again as soon as possible. –HirowoWiki (📝) 07:11, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

:::Let me know so I know in the future. Needs restored to [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Vivian_Dsena&diff=1291264735&oldid=1291263923 this version] as the promo and FANCRUFT is getting out of hand from the SPA. --CNMall41 (talk) 07:14, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

::::Alright! I understood. –HirowoWiki (📝) 07:16, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::I saw the history and know what you mean now. I believe I reverted to the correct version. Removed all the FANCRUFT and restored to your version which was the most stable stable stable (I believe). Cheers!--CNMall41 (talk) 07:17, 20 May 2025 (UTC)

Adding No Escape (TV Series) to Production Company Page

Hello, I'm still fairly new to wikipedia editing so apologies in advance for any mistakes. I would like to add No Escape (TV Series) 2023 the the Living Films page, here are some references for the company's production services with the series.

1) https://www.newpictures.co.uk/shows/no-escape/

2) https://www.awn.com/news/vine-fxs-invisible-vfx-adds-peril-no-escape (credit at bottom of page)

:You need to have reliable sources supporting changes. --CNMall41 (talk) 05:05, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

::New Pictures is one of the production companies for No Escape (TV Series) they credit Living Films in their website page for the series here: https://www.newpictures.co.uk/shows/no-escape/

::If you scroll down the page you will see information about the directors, writers, executive producers and credit to Living Films work on the series. "A New Pictures production in association with VIS UK, filmed with support of Living Films and the Thailand Film Office Tax Incentive for Paramount+.".

::Does a source from the website of the production company not considered as reliable? Dogherine (talk) 05:12, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

:::It is not independent. --CNMall41 (talk) 17:16, 21 May 2025 (UTC)

::::Would the following work as reliable, independent resources?

::::1) Chris Lowenstein (Living Films Producer) is credited on the Prime website listing for the series here: https://www.primevideo.com/-/th/detail/No-Escape/0R8OU7TV4N99VW0V34S2DTA0TZ

::::2) Living Films credited as a producer of the series at the bottom of article: https://dev.motionographer.com/news/vine-fx-delivers-500-shots-for-paramount-show-no-escape/

::::3) https://cines.com/en/producer/living-films

::::4) https://coolmusicltd.com/composers/dominik-scherrer/ Dogherine (talk) 02:45, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::Do you work for Living Films? Mike Allen 11:50, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

:::::No, they would not work. I would like to hear the answer the question posed above, though. Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID and make the appropriate disclosure if applicable. --CNMall41 (talk) 21:38, 22 May 2025 (UTC)

Since you like to use subheadings, though I would create my own. First, WP:DTR. Second, see [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Jha09 this SPI filing] for use of multiple accounts. Cheers! --CNMall41 (talk) 17:29, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

Stay calm

You know the rest. And it was just recently I realized it was Tress not Trees which how I read it. Might want to keep an eye on [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/ThoroughlyBravo this editor] who has crossover with just blocked {{noping|Aj ki Baat}}, the most curious being Draft:Shirin Farhad (TV series). :Also, admins seem quite amenable to indef ECP target articles and redirects. Both my requests for ECP at RFPP were carried out for redirects Love Guru (I only requested temp ECP, but they applied indef) and Parwarish. Note that the Parwarish redirect was only targeted once but that was enough. They are now so prolific thanks to your work many admins are aware and so tired of their time wasting hi jinks.
