Spinosauridae

Hey, please note that edit warring may result in a block, see Wikipedia:Edit warring. You need to seek consensus on the article talk page if your edit is contested. Thanks, Jens Lallensack (talk) 22:29, 16 May 2025 (UTC)

:I added evidence from papers that supports the size on spino but then it keeps gets changed Cats12r2! (talk) 08:11, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

::That "evidence" is two decades old, and was before the discovery/announcement of the proposed neotype. And as Jens Lallensack said, you should be discussing this in talk page first. I'm saying this as a user who once did some serious mistakes regarding size editing issues and was rather very unhelpful in Wikipedia in the past. Junsik1223 (talk) 11:41, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

:::But 7.4t and 14m is a underestimated tough nizar ibharm specimen was 15m and 10 tones and was still growing at the time of death. You got that from the pual serno CT scan right? Cats12r2! (talk) 13:28, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

:::I also taken your advice and put it on the talk page even though the estimates are a decade old. Cats12r2! (talk) 13:34, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

You have been blocked from editing from certain pages (:Spinosauridae) for a period of 2 weeks for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 14:05, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

{{unblock reviewed|decline=You're only blocked from one article for two weeks. You can attempt to gain consensus on the article talk page in the meantime. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 14:11, 18 May 2025 (UTC)|1=I understand that my repeated edits to the Spinosauridae article were viewed as edit warring, and I apologize. I was acting in good means, trying to reflect reliable sources, but I now understand that I should have relied on the talk page and consensus-building first. If unblocked, I will focus on discussion and follow dispute resolution channels instead of reverting.}}

{{unblock reviewed |1=I understand that my repeated edits to the Spinosauridae article were considered edit warring. I apologize for my actions — I now recognize that I should have used the talk page to seek consensus instead of reverting changes. My intent was to improve the article using what I believed were reliable sources, but I accept that I handled it the wrong way But Now I have used the talk page and now I am resolving this with other Wikipedia editors Cats12r2! (talk) 15:24, 20 May 2025 (UTC) |decline = I'm tempted to restart or extend your block. You don't need your block lifted, you need to make edit requests or build consensus on that article's talk page. I see no such consensus at this time. Instead, you are spending your time writing unblock requests. Yamla (talk) 15:34, 20 May 2025 (UTC)}}

:{{re|Ta-tea-two-te-to}} Please don't write "everyone knows the fact that Israel is committing genocide" anywhere on Wikipedia. I've removed what Cats12r2! wrote at the Wikiproject page about Israel, not because it's "annoying", but because it's inappropriate. Wikipedia is not a platform for editors to accuse governments of committing genocide. Also, Cats12r2!, you cannot remove topics from Talk pages once they've been responded to, even if you started them; I restored the topic you removed. Don't do it again.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:28, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

::{{re|Bbb23}} I'm sorry. I regret that myself was not able to remain neutral. Ta-tea-two-te-to (talk) 14:11, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

::It is not annoying there is a mass killing going on and you are just going to dismiss it? I know Wikipedia is not a place for political things but Putting it on their talk page will help raise awareness about what's happening. Cats12r2! (talk) 18:19, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

:::My warning still stands. Wikipedia is not a place for your political opinions or for "raising awareness". Wikipedia is for improving articles. There are plenty of places on the web for you to discuss real-life events and advocate a particular view, but not here.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:25, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

::::Why you block me I will remove the page and not attempt do to it again Cats12r2! (talk) 18:42, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

::::You are targeting me why have you blocked me first on Spinosauridae and then now from editing forever how can I make consensus if I am blocked completely? Cats12r2! (talk) 19:14, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you believe that there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:37, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

{{unblock reviewed|reason=I understand that my actions on constantly editing pages and points on wiki-project/articles has caused disruption on Wikipedia articles and wiki-project, I apologize for my actions. Cats12r2! (talk) 20:06, 27 May 2025 (UTC)|decline=An apology is a good start, but this request does not tell what edits you will make instead of being disruptive. You shouldn't be editing about any aspect of the Arab-Israeli conflict at all as it has an extended-confirmed restriction. (see below) 331dot (talk) 22:36, 27 May 2025 (UTC)}}

:If you e-mail me again, I will disable your e-mail access.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:56, 27 May 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days, and you are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on any page within this topic.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.

{{unblock | reason=I know that you have to have a certain amount of days and edits to edit a protected article, I understand that the isreal-arab conflict is a controversial topic. I now know that I should not have engaged or posted anything. Cats12r2! (talk) 10:37, 28 May 2025 (UTC)}}
