Sorry

I want to say that I am sincerely sorry for how I acted yesterday. I will try to learn my lesson and keep out of such discussions in future because it clearly has a very negative effect on my mental health. We can agree to disagree on grammar. I do not wish to continue such discussions further. HumanBodyPiloter5 (talk) 15:06, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

ANI thread

Hi, thanks for raising the minor edits issue at ANI. Just letting you know I've closed this thread with a reminder to {{u|Pajfarmor}} to review the guidelines at WP:MINOR and, going forward, to not mark substantive changes as minor. The close message is [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents&diff=prev&oldid=996162037 here].

Hopefully this will resolve the issue, but if it continues please let me know at my talkpage. -- Euryalus (talk) 22:13, 24 December 2020 (UTC)

:I cannot imagine why you are bending over backwards to play this issue down, and to be as friendly as possible to the person dishonestly marking their edits as minor. A few days before I reported them, someone reported a different user for exactly the same problem: [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/IncidentArchive1054#Wilkja19_marking_all_edits_as_minor]. Their behaviour was described as "[https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:Wilkja19&diff=992318973&oldid=990366171 deceptive and disruptive editing]. And yet nobody criticised the person applying that description, and the user concerned was [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&logid=113534825 blocked for disruption].

:Given that the user I reported has been editing since 2006, it is not plausible that they are marking their edits as minor by accident somehow, or without understanding what minor edits are. If they were leaving edit summaries, then marking as minor would be almost irrelevant, but that is not the case. In 14 years, they have never responded even a single time to a message left on their talk page, so they are not going to confirm that they have read or comprehended your message to them, but you basically told them not to worry about it anyway. :: User:Euryalus, it should come as no surprise that the user has continued to mark significant edits as minor, without leaving an edit summary either. [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Stannis_Baratheon&diff=prev&oldid=997642925], [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Augustus&diff=prev&oldid=997640421]. It is obviously intentionally disruptive. Cinagroni (talk) 16:34, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

::: User:Euryalus, I see that you asked the user to stop marking major edits as minor. Again, no surprise to see that they [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Val%C3%A9ry_Giscard_d%27Estaing&diff=prev&oldid=997875656 continued doing so] soon afterwards. If you doubted before that they were being deliberately disruptive, maybe it is clearer now. Cinagroni (talk) 13:55, 5 January 2021 (UTC)

{{unblock reviewed|"Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely to prevent abuse." I do not understand this. My account certainly has not been used abusively, and certainly will not ever be. Can you identify any edits I have made which you believe to be harmful? {{unblock reviewed|This is not correct. This account has not ever been used abusively, nor ever would be. If you think any edit I made was intended to be harmful, point it out.
