{{unblock reviewed|1=My username doesn't clearly fall within any of the policy restrictions. My username isn't a proper noun like watergate, either. There's nothing official about it. And I've never edited anything related to climate. If people can have the word "evil" in their username, I see no reason why I can't have this one. Either way, it shouldn't have been unilaterally blocked as it was. It should have been opened for comment. Other people have names that are climate related and even contain components like "green" something or other to denote it. Why do I get the impression that had I named myself "go-green", "carbon-free" or "capandtrade" or some such thing that I wouldn't have been banned. Thanks.|decline=Accounts that give the impression of being politically biased are blocked on-sight. See WP:Neutral point of view and please request a name change with {{tlx|unblock-un|
{{unblock reviewed|1= There is nothing political about my username. It's a term of art applied by journalists and ordinary people in blogs about something non-political in nature, namely the revelation of emails by scientists, not politicians, and it doesn't denote a proper noun. And as a side note, despite the fact that my username is NOT political, if you people delete anything "political" on the spot, I see no justification for that in the policy anywhere. If someone had a problem with my username it should have been opened for comment.|decline=No reason to unblock. Username is disruptive. Toddst1 (talk) 22:10, 19 March 2010 (UTC)}}
