Can you help me? 28/10/15

{{helpme helped}}Hello! My name is James , and full disclosure, I'm the junior communications officer in the constituency office for the MP Tania Mathias . I was wondering if I could send you a headshot picture (I have a few!) of Tania for the wiki article as it currently lacks a picture. I did a little bit of research into the pictures tags and copyright issues, and I think it comes under {Withpermission} and {Non-free promotional}, I would add it myself but I'm a new user as you can see. No worries if you're busy though!

:{{ping|Jcurtisward|Clivemacd}} If it's not your own work, you'll have to get the person who owns the photo to go through OTRS and donate the image, see WP:DONATEIMAGE. --  Kethrus |talk to me  13:45, 28 October 2015 (UTC)

:{{ping|Kethrus}} Ok, it might be easier if I take a picture on my phone then, but I'll look into the precise copyright of the promotional photographs before I donate. Thanks for your help!

[[WP:RM#CM]]

"The discussion process is used for potentially controversial moves. The move is potentially controversial if any of the following apply:

  • There is an existing article (not just a redirect) at the target title;
  • There has been any past debate about the best title for the page;
  • Someone could reasonably disagree with the move.

Use this process if there is any reason to believe a move would be contested."

See also WP:RMUM:

"If you disagree with [an undiscussed] move, and the new title has not been in place for a long time, you may revert the move."

This language, by the way, did not exist when I performed the first move back in April 2006 [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Requested_moves&oldid=50601903], over a decade ago. Maybe I was wrong then, but it doesn't matter. The title I chose proved uncontroversial for over ten years until a few days ago. And the title you chose—Conrad I of Franconia—isn't even the original title of the page. Why not just open an RM? Srnec (talk) 00:03, 29 November 2017 (UTC)
