• Do you have a conflict-of-interest? Read this guide. It's also important to be aware of an ongoing scam.
• :Category:All stub articles which is organized alphabetically and by topic. All these articles could be expanded!
• This is a tutorial for what to know if you wanted to create an article. Our guideline on what is notable for inclusion on the site is a crucial part of this process.
• Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch – advice on phrasing to avoid when editing
• This page is a glossary of different terms used on Wikipedia that can help you understand what people are talking about if you come across an unfamiliar acronym.
• Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Directory – this is a list of wikiprojects. Some are way more active than others but it's a decent way to try and find groups of articles that match your interests. I'm particularly fond of Wikipedia:WikiProject Canada and the associated challenge for improving articles.
• This is the perennial sources list, which can be helpful if you're not sure if something is a reliable source. If it's not on this list and you have concerns, try this noticeboard.
• If you are in a disagreement with another editor, you can try asking for a third opinion. There are also other processes for dispute resolution.

:The more I think about it, the more I like it. I'm tired of the gerontocracy. You may not be uniquely qualified based on your sheer statistical work history, but I think you should apply all the same. Yes, it sounds crazy, but knowing someone who is young and open to new ideas is in charge and interested in the future is important just the same. ::::Look, I'm flattered you think I'd do a great job there, but I think I'm severely underqualified for a role of such magnitude. I don't even feel comfortable enough to consider running for ArbCom even though people have tried to get me to do so in the past.

::::In regards to my work history, I wasn't even a manager when I worked at McDonald's (nor at my current job, though the hierarchy for seafaring positions is a bit different). I'm willing to push the boundaries a bit for most things and change the status quo if I think there's good reason to do so, but even I have my limits. Applying to be the CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation would involve a lot of self-confidence and audacity I don't have. I doubt it's even something one could apply for like a normal job anyways. Incremental personal growth will stand you in good stead for a senior leadership position a few years. {{u|Viriditas}}, I think it's almost cruel to suggest a young woman with no organizational management experience should consider applying for a role that is so far outside of her range of life experience. If I didn't know better, I would have taken this as a bad joke; however, having had the opportunity to see your interactions and work on Wikipedia for many years, I think you are being serious. I would point out that none of the WMF EDs/CEOs would be considered a member of the gerontocracy. All of them were under age 45 when hired, and most of them were in their 30s.
