Just so you know

Most websites call the song "Intro" simply that because it's a shorter version for the real name. Type "Intro...My Lifestyle" into google and you will get results on websites such as lastfm. AmongTheliving66 (talk) 20:40, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

:You must be joking. Do you think Last.fm is a reliable source? I have shown you the band's official site, the iTunes page, some professional reviews of The Poison and even the album's picture where you can clearly read the name is "Intro". I think that should be enough, don't you? Moreover, I've asked for help from an administrator and he said that I was right. Just so you know. Cristian MH (talk) 22:04, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

''The Poison'', edit war

Hi, I have seen your talk on The Poison talk page. And I am here for you to back you up and help you for what's right. First of all, have you tried to contact the two users (AmongTheliving66 and unregistered user: 71.95.82.119) that you are "war-ing" with? If not, you should start a talk on their talk page and request them to get involved in both The Poison talk page and "The Poison dispute". — ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇtalk✯ 23:57, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

:Yes, I have also tried to discuss it with AmongTheliving66 on in his talk page, four days ago. I have not talked with the unregistered user, but both were reported on their discussion pages that they are involved in WP:DRN. Cristian MH (talk) 01:11, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

::As soon as the page gets unprotected, I'll see what I can do. I know what you mean though. There are some Wikipedian (or people in general) who just don't listen and only "blah blah" on about what they have to say. — ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇtalk✯ 01:29, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

:::Thank you very much again for your help. Cristian MH (talk) 01:47, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

::::I have "fixed-up" the problem (I hope). It is now listed as just "Intro". I have added a "hidden" note which explains the matter. Just go to edit track listing and you'll see what I mean. — ıʇɐʞǝɐdʌɐиƭɐqǝoɟʎouɹqoɐʇtalk✯ 21:36, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Hey

I noticed you removed sourced genres I added, but they were sourced and had no controversies. I also noticed you reverted my edits removing genre warrior edits and unsourced genres. However, you didn't explain in the edit summary. I will NOT report you, I just think you should explain in the summary so I cn understand the edit. Stgw (talk) 02:12, 30 March 2013 (UTC)

:Where do you see the words "melodic metalcore" in [http://www.metalsucks.net/2011/05/23/in-waves-let-the-arguing-about-the-new-trivium-song-begin/ this reference]? Unless you find another reference, don't add that genre to In Waves. Regarding Ember To Inferno, I just added thrash metal with a source. Cristian MH (talk) 16:50, 31 March 2013 (UTC)

Also you never explained removing metalcore from the infobox, on bfmv, I added all genres the band got sourced as. Stgw (talk) 18:41, 13 April 2013 (UTC)

:I've reverted to consensus version. In my opinion, the band is clearly "melodic metalcore", not "metalcore". But if you want to add that genre to the infobox, add a source. Cristian MH (talk) 18:56, 16 April 2013 (UTC)

Allmusic

I noticed that you claim allmusic.com is not a reliable source. Wouldn't, then, everything sourced to it be unacceptable on wikipedia? Curb Chain (talk) 02:46, 2 jun 2013 (UTC)

:First of all, remember you must sign your posts on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~). Regarding to Allmusic, I only said it's not a reliable source when it comes to genres. For example, Sylosis is not [http://www.allmusic.com/album/monolith-mw0002417143 symphonic black metal], Mastodon is not [http://www.allmusic.com/artist/mastodon-mn0000382565 post-hardcore] and Machine Head is not [http://www.allmusic.com/album/the-blackening-mw0000477937 industrial metal]. Cristian MH (talk) 14:01, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

::Apologies for not signing my post. I usually sign my posts but I rarely, and when I do, unfortunately, forget. But in the bio, it says they play those genres.Curb Chain (talk) 21:59, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Metalcore

I suggest using the term "metalcore" than the term "metallic hardcore" due to the fact that metalcore is the more identified term so that readers aren't confused. Kznn11 (talk) 18:52, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

:In the 90's there was some bands like Hatebreed and Integrity who started playing hardcore punk with metal influences. That genre was called metallic hardcore. Check out these references about those two bands I have mentioned. [http://www.thrashhits.com/2013/02/album-hatebreed-the-divinity-of-purpose/] [http://themusic.com.au/reviews/album/2013/01/16/hatebreed-the-divinity-of-purpose-brendan-crabb/] [http://themetalden.com/?p=32199] [http://metalmouth.net/2013/04/metallic-hardcore-outfit-integrity-to-release-suicide-black-snake/]

:Ten years later, some bands like Killswitch Engage and As I Lay Dying started playing metal with hardcore influences. And that was called metalcore. They are not the same genre because the first one sounds more like hardcore and the second one sounds more like metal. In the same way metalcore is not the same as deathcore. Cristian MH (talk) 21:31, 14 August 2013 (UTC)

::No it is that those guys lean more towards metal while metalcore bands like hatebreed lean towards hardcore. It is still metalcore.
