Adolph Alexander Weinman back in 2004 and you just picked out a typo that has been there, if not that long, probably close to it. Welcome to wikipedia and keep up the good work. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 03:55, 26 March 2010 (UTC)

Hey, Diis. I invited Josh to create 2011 but glad you did so that it exists and that its a mirror image of what preceeds it (2009 and 2010). BTW, in the infobox on all relevent pages, we should change to include 2011 as you did with "see also". I would but Im not sure how. MC and HNY...Buster Seven Talk 19:43, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
:{{done}} I added '11 to the Barack Obama sidebar. You just edit that in the sidebar's template which is at Template:Barack_Obama_sidebar. Kind regards, Diiscool (talk) 19:48, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
:{{done}} Looks good. I moved some of the "furniture" over from 2010. thanks! Buster Seven Talk 22:16, 29 December 2010 (UTC)
::Hey Diis, HNY. Just for my continuing education, what is the purpose of your most recent edit re: "temporary...FORCETOC"? Is it some kind of protective sheltering device? Does it have to do with the General Sanctions that preside over all Obama articles (WP:GS/BO)?
::: Buster, no no, that doesn't have anything to do with protecting the article. The FORCETOC forces the article to have a Table of Contents (TOC) no matter how many sections it has. Since we only have three sections in the article (January, References, and See also) it would not have a Table of Contents without the FORCETOC. I wanted it to have a TOC mainly for formatting so that the Barack Obama box at the top right won't interfere with the image I added. Once we get February in, or any other section, the TOC would have been automatic. You can read more about it here: WP:TOC. Happy new year to you.—Diiscool (talk) 15:47, 3 January 2011 (UTC)

Garfield used a personal Pullman car when he rode the Auto-Train service he started to carry people and their vehicles between Virginia and Florida? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, [http://stats.grok.se/en/201101/Eugene_K._Garfield quick check]) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

I know that I didn't do the refs right re: citenews. I guess I don't follow the instructions correctly. Can you transfer the instructions into 'layman english' for me. Much appreciated.
Also, do the cite new ref instructions pertain to ALL other refs to WP articles?? Thanks...Buster Seven Talk 22:03, 19 January 2011 (UTC)
:Buster, the {{tl|Cite news}} template is pretty straightforward; you just fill in the known information. So, for example, using the URL you just added to the Obama timeline, I added the information that the news sources gives us: authors, date, publisher, access date. Those are the usual items. You should always try to include the access date so people know that the URL was active at that time. I'll break it down for you:
:*
:*
:*|first1=Chris |last1=Buckley |first2=Matt |last2=Spetalnick → in this case, the news article had two authors, so you can see there is a place for the first and last names of both, differentiated with numbers; I think this can go up to 9
:*|title=Obama presses China's Hu on currency, rights → the news article's title
:*|publisher=Reuters → the news article's publisher, in this case Reuters
:*|date=January 19, 2011 → the date the news article was published, usually found at the top of the article
:*|accessdate=January 19, 2011}} → the date you saw the news article and added it to Wikipedia; this doesn't have to be the same as the date the thing was published
:I think you can use any of the cite templates on any Wikipedia article, unless the article already has an established citation system.—Diiscool (talk) 22:33, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

CSD A1
Hi, I just noticed that you tagged RAIS ALLAH DITTA RIND for speedy deletion per CSD A1/notenglish. Please note that "insufficient context" does not apply to foreign language articles (unless you can speak Arabic and assess the content) and that "db-notenglish" is only applicable if there exists a corresponding article on another Wikipedia in a foreign language. New articles in languages other than English should simply be tagged with {{t|notenglish}} (note: there's no db-) and then listed at WP:PNT for translation, which is what you did too. If there's no progress in translation after 14 days such articles will be proposed for deletion anyway. Happy editing, De728631 (talk) 17:24, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
:Thanks for the info. I had never done a {{t|notenglish}} before, but now I see how it works. —Diiscool (talk) 17:40, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Reversion...?
Hey, I'm wondering why you reverted [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_ships_attacked_by_Somali_pirates_in_2011&diff=416069684&oldid=415596566 this edit] (with an [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_ships_attacked_by_Somali_pirates_in_2011&diff=next&oldid=416069684 edit summary of what?])? My change was simply removing an extra newline that was creating ugly blank space on the page (check the difference between my edit and the previous version). I don't see why you had to revert that edit, you could have just brought it up on my talk page. Anyways, I'm going to re-remove the extra blank line, unless you strongly object. (Could you leave a {{tl|talkback}} on my talk page if you reply here? Thanks!) --- c y m r u . l a s s (talk me, stalk me) 20:07, 26 February 2011 (UTC)
:You removed a comma that is necessary and you removed a the space following the comma, also necessary. Hardly worth a whole section on your talk page. It's a minor thing. I really don't know why you would remove that comma and run together the URL with the preceding text. —Diiscool (talk) 02:50, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
::Looking at the history again, I see I inadvertently replaced the unnecessary line that you took out. I agree that it doesn't need to be there. —Diiscool (talk) 02:54, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
:::{{ec}} Weird... I didn't intend to remove the comma. What I was doing was removing an extra blank line at the bottom of the section. I'm working on a laptop, so I guess I must have scrolled up to that area with my trackpad by mistake. I guess this is why one shouldn't type with a sprained wrist {{=)|tongue}} I redid my edit [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_ships_attacked_by_Somali_pirates_in_2011&diff=next&oldid=416077614 here], and I did it right this time {{mono|:)}} --- c y m r u . l a s s (talk me, stalk me) 02:57, 27 February 2011 (UTC)
