categorys and templates
hi please add described categorys for your articles by years and add templates for articles thanks
Adelptes
I saw that you blanked and redirected Adelptes and A. clavipalpis to Mordellinae. Since they aren't mentioned there (or anywhere else on Wikipedia), I reverted them both back to articles. If you think they should not exist, I think it would be better to delete them (through PROD or AfD) than to have them redirect to an article that doesn't mention them. jlwoodwa (talk) 19:27, 17 March 2025 (UTC)
:Do you know of a better reference Adelptes clavipalpis? It was deleted from the GBIF taxonomy in 2018. While Adelptes does remain listed in the GBIF taxonomy, it is listed as "doubtful" with no children. I don't think Joel Hallan's species list is a valid reference.
:I redirected a lot of Mordellidae species and genera that had Joel Hallan's species list as their sole reference and with no other references online except those derived from Joel Hallan's species list or Wikipedia itself. I redirected them to a synonym, if available, or to their parent or nearest valid ancestor listed in the article. These articles can be deleted, but I don't recommend restoring them without any valid references. I can probably submit them all for deletion later this year. I don't think it's a good idea to try and maintain a list of former species and genera in articles for subfamilies, etc. Bob Webster (talk) 04:01, 18 March 2025 (UTC)
