Nottingham University
Hi there,
You seem to have done some commendable work on the Nottingham University wiki in the past. I'm wondering if you could look at it again. Right now there have been a couple of complaints that the whole thing looks like one big PR exercise, especially the rankings and reputation (see talk). Essentially, rankings that are good are championed whilst bad ones are ignored, or the validity of those rankings are questioned. It still talks of Nottingham being among the Sutton Trust's 13 highest ranked universities- no such official group exists, and this was based on the 1999 league tables, which have since been superceded be eleven new ones. The neutral tone of the article is in serious doubt, to the extent it would not pass GA status now I fear. When I made edits and asked for citations, they were quickly reverted by another IP.

Disambiguation link fixing one-day contest
I have decided to put on a mini-contest within the November 2013 monthly disambiguation contest, on Saturday, November 23 (UTC). I will personally give a $20 Amazon.com gift card to the disambiguator who fixes the most links on that server-day ([https://tools.wmflabs.org/dplbot/ch/dab_challenge.php see the project page for details on scoring points]). Since we are not geared up to do an automated count for that day, at 00:00, 23 November 2013 (UTC) (which is 7:00 PM on November 22, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the project page leaderboard. I will presume that anyone who is not already listed on the leaderboard has precisely nine edits. At 01:00, 24 November 2013 (UTC) (8:00 PM on November 23, EST), I'll take a screenshot of the leaderboard at that time (the extra hour is to give the board time to update), and I will determine from that who our winner is. I will credit links fixed by turning a WP:DABCONCEPT page into an article, but you'll have to let me know me that you did so. Here's to a fun contest. Note that according to the Daily Disambig, we currently have under 256,000 disambiguation links to be fixed. If everyone in the disambiguation link fixers category were to fix 500 links, we would have them all done - so aim high! Cheers! bd2412 T 02:23, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

[[Wikipedia:Proposed deletion|Proposed deletion]] of [[:Chesapeake Research Consortium]]
The article :Chesapeake Research Consortium has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
notability. Does not meet the notability criteria.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
