  • Please sign your messages on talk pages with four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically insert your "signature" (your username and a date stamp). The File:OOUI JS signature icon LTR.png button, on the tool bar above Wikipedia's text editing window, also does this.

Flyingfishee, good luck, and have fun. BeastyBirea (talk) 17:01, 14 June 2020 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Flyingfishee. Thank you for your work on Risavika. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

{{Bq|1=Thanks for creating your 2nd new page! It's brief, but relevant. I've linked it to Wikidata; it's worth learning how to do, as you can link to information like coordinates (done) and expand the page from other language versions.}}

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{code|{{Re|Klbrain}}}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

:Thank you {{Re|Klbrain}}, I appreciate it! Is there a guide somewhere I can follow on how to link new pages to wikidata?

:Flyingfishee (talk) 16:39, 17 September 2024 (UTC)

::You link them by editing on Wikidata (not on Wikipedia). They have some video tutorials [https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Tours here], [Help:Items help on items], or just go to the [https://www.wikidata.org/ project page], search for something of interest and see how the pages are set up. So, for [https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q10997578 Risabika], note that there is a Wikipedia section towards the bottom of the page, and you can see that it is now linked to 3 language versions. I just edited it there to add the 'en' page (English Wikipedia). Klbrain (talk) 21:05, 17 September 2024 (UTC)
