Hello, Arsene Wenger's Early Life seems to have an inaccuracy in his date of birth and the year on the Eastern front. Could you please take a look and clarify where possible. :Hello, thanks for getting in touch. I've just had a look. I think the passage you mention is referring to his father, Alphonse. This bit:

:"Arsène's father, Alphonse, like many Alsatians, was conscripted into the German Army by force following Germany's earlier annexation of the French region of Alsace-Lorraine.
