Since we last spoke, lots of notable stuff happened around here.

- Bible ban weakened Florida's book ban law

- Federal lawsuit (ongoing) against Broward Schools for viewpoint discrimination

- State lawsuit (dismissed) to throw Trump from Florida ballot

And a bunch more. Wondering if we could chat and get an updated page? Wanting to play by the rules, looking to do this the right way.

Happy new year 2025! We had, pictured on the Main page, on 14 January Tosca, in memory of her first appearance on stage OTD in 1900, and of principal author Brian Boulton, and today is Schubert's birthday. :* images I add to articles you wrote? Those articles are usually in your watchlist, so you can check your watchlist and look for changes by me, GRuban; I normally make an edit comment like "+img".

:* images that I add to articles in general? I guess you can look at [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3AContributions&target=GRuban&namespace=0 my contributions to articles] the same way, for comments saying "+img" or similar. I often add several images each week.

:* all images I've ever uploaded to articles? I try to add the ones that make it into articles, with links to those, to [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:GRuban my Commons user page], but that's a manual process, so often a few months behind. You can also look at [https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ListFiles/GRuban&ilshowall=1 my raw Commons uploads], which will be on time, but will include many images that don't make it into articles, multiple crops of the same image, backs of old images to prove lack of copyright notice, etc. (For example, earlier this month I uploaded half dozen images of a certain lady who said she didn't want an article after all, so they may well never go anywhere unless she changes her mind again.) --GRuban (talk) 18:58, 25 February 2025 (UTC)
