Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/UKIP Eastleigh

Hi Hdiuk. I'm afraid I've nominated UKIP Eastleigh for deletion as it fails our notability guidelines - specifically that individual chapters of national and international organizations are usually not considered notable enough to warrant a separate article - see WP:BRANCH. Please do join the discussion at the above link. Pedro :  Chat  13:04, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for letting me know. I have however responded with my view on why The specific branch is important and should be recorded in History. Due to the huge achievements of the Branch members and committee and the fallout that followed the Eastleigh By-Election. UKIP Eastleigh Branch is seen as the most important branch in the Country. UKIP as a party has come from Fringe party to major political party in the UK all because of the work of this Branch Hdiuk (talk) 13:30, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

:That's fair enough, but as I mentioned at the AFD the outcome of the Eastleigh by election 2013 is best in it's own article, and the surge in UKIP support best recorded in the UKIP article. However the AFD will take it's course and another admin will close it accordingly.

:Whilst here can I strongly ask you to refrain from edits like this - Wikipedia has a neutral point of view and language like "disgraced" violates our core policy on living persons. Thanks. Pedro :  Chat  13:47, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Agreed Pedro, I am still learning how to create Articles and your feedback is higly appreciated. Thank You Hdiuk (talk) 13:55, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on :Jim Saunders requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  GILO   A&E 18:55, 26 January 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of :File:Jim Saunders.jpg

File:Ambox warning yellow.svg

The file :File:Jim Saunders.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the proposed deletion/dated files notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing proposed deletion/dated files will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:01, 19 November 2019 (UTC)
