User talk:Helpful Pixie Bot/January 2010 converted to February 2010

What was happening

SB was replacing some date parametrs of January 2010 with February 2010.

;Why

Becasue of a decade bug, it was seeing any maint dates not beginning with 200 as invalid

;Why

Bcasue during the 2000s a suprising number of dates were added in the 2010s, 202s etc,

;Is it fixed?

Probably. Teting as of this edit.

Have noticed these two edits [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=University_of_St_Andrews_Union_Debating_Society&curid=943568&diff=341222178&oldid=340572336 here] and [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=New_Malden&oldid=341220949 here] that the bot changed dates - I have undone the edits - may be a problem. =Bot is corrupting dates=

In [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Zeno%27s_paradoxes&curid=34535&diff=341222427&oldid=340808005 this edit], existing dates were advanced by one month, specifically {{tlc|Who|2=date=January 2010}} was changed to {{tlc|Who|2=date=February 2010}} twice. Has the bot become a POV pusher? ;) Paradoctor (talk) 09:03, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

Seeing the same thing in Tomato ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tomato&diff=341222053&oldid=340790737 this edit]). Thomas Kluyver (talk) 10:35, 1 February 2010 (UTC)

= STOP =

Recently the Bot [http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Demarcation_problem&diff=341219933&oldid=336869612 changed the date] of an existing tag from the date when it was first posted to the current month. There didn't seem to be any reason for this change. I see others have made similar comments. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 01:53, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
