''Cryptosporidium''

Hi, I saw your comment about Cryptosporidium in Template talk:taxobox. You're right, the taxonomy in the Cryptosporidium article was obsolete. Current phylogeny seems to show that Cryptosporidium does not belong under Coccidiasina, but there isn't yet a consensus on its place in the the hierarchy. It might form a sister group with Coccidia and Gregarinasina (see Adl et al, 2012). Recently, Ruggiero et al, 2015 fleshed out the taxonomy for the group, filling in gaps between phylum and family (class Gregarinomorphea, subclass Cryptogregaria, order Cryptogregarida), however their groups are new and there is not yet any consensus on their usefulness. In the interim, I've simply deleted the ranks between genus and phylum on the Cryptosporidium taxobox (as in Adl et al, 2012). When consensus forms around a new taxonomy, we can reintroduce the missing ranks. Deuterostome (talk) 16:44, 26 September 2015 (UTC)

[[Draft:Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK)|Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK)]] moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 22:06, 6 November 2018 (UTC)

Your draft article, [[Draft:Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK)]]

File:Information icon4.svg

Hello, Ilikelifesciences. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Genome Analysis Toolkit".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply {{edit|Draft:Genome Analysis Toolkit (GATK)|edit the submission}} and remove the {{tlc|db-afc}}, {{tlc|db-draft}}, or {{tlc|db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 12:22, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

Hello. I apologise to bother you, but if you don't mind, I'd like to ask a question regarding the article Transposable element. I believe it should include some information on the so-called Class III TEs, e.g. Foldback (FB) elements (see: Pierre Capy et al., Dynamics and Evolution of Transposable Elements, 1998). What are your thoughts? Thank you very much. --Pinoczet (talk) 21:30, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
