:@Doug Weller I have commented in that separate discussion actually already. But that is a separate and distinct discussion from whether or not the group is to be labeled "far-right" in the lead according to reliable sources. I am not sure if you meant to revert my edit on that, since I was not the one to have inserted that newly added label to the lead without any discussion prior. Iljhgtn (talk) 20:25, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
::You said you did it to start a talk page discussion. If you want that,do it yourself,. Doug Weller talk 21:07, 11 January 2025 (UTC)
:::I was reverting the comment of a controversial and contentious label that was inserted for the group mid-way through an entirely separate and unrelated discussion that is happening over at the RS noticeboard. I think it does make sense to revert that again and then to start a talk page discussion per WP:BRD. I will do so now then, thanks. Iljhgtn (talk) 21:20, 11 January 2025 (UTC)

Rcats
Hi, whilst reviewing redirects I've noticed you've been creating a large number of Hebrew-language redirects and tagging them with R from alternative language, however R to transliteration would be better suited for many of them. I have tried to tag all the ones I have come across as such, but I have probably missed a fair amount and thought I'd mention it to you for future redirects you create. Just make sure you use it correctly. Thanks, harrz talk 00:01, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:I will use R to transliteration if that is better. Are you sure though? It is not a transliteration often, but actual foreign language characters and english text. For example, Yonatan Steinberg is the English translation, not transliteration of "יהונתן שטיינברג". I can stop and wait for a bit before I do more to ensure we are on the same page around which tag to tag these redirects, or do you just mean r categories? I hardly do categories, it is mostly articles. Iljhgtn (talk) 00:03, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::I think many of the redirects you have created count as transliterations rather than translations, as you can't really translate a person's name. It is the same with other languages which use different scripts, e.g. Russian, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic. The definition of transliteration is 'the process of converting a word or text from one script to another while preserving the pronunciation'. So, if the Latin and Hebrew forms are both pronounced similarly then it is most likely a transliteration - the redirect should have that rcat template rather than the other one. harrz talk 00:14, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::My understanding of a transliteration would be to retain the pronunciation in the native language, in our example case, Hebrew. In this case, I believe you are actually mistaken. These are translations and not transliterations in most cases. For example, אסתר קיילינגולד translates to Esther Cailingold, but transliterates better as "Estair Kyleengohld". Transliteration is not merely a translation, and for the overwhelming majority of the redirects that I am tagging then, I think "R from alternative language" might still be best. I'll hang on though another moment before I resume just to make sure that we both agree. Iljhgtn (talk) 00:24, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::Without firm objection I will resume redirects using the translation tag unless you clearly prove to me that these are better as transliteration tags. Iljhgtn (talk) 00:38, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::The tag even says that names are to be used as one of the direct examples in the tag explanatory annotation: "" Iljhgtn (talk) 00:42, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::That may be an issue with the template itself as R to transliteration was created relatively recently compared to R from alternative language, which at the time of its creation included transliterations and might not have been updated since. I will take a closer look at this tomorrow as it's getting late for me now! harrz talk 00:48, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::For that example I would agree, and it seems like that is the case for many Israelis who also have some connection to English, e.g British and American, which I noticed with Michael Eisenberg. An important thing to note is that there are often many different transliterations, which is why it is defined as converting one script to another whilst maintaining the pronunciation. For example, I would say that Nechemya Cohen and Reuven Tal are transliterations as the pronunciations differ very slightly if at all. harrz talk 00:44, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::Reuven Tal is not though. That would be pronounced as "Roo-vayn" if properly transliterated. Again, these examples are still translations, though maybe you're right in other languages? Iljhgtn (talk) 00:46, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::Also, Nechemya Cohen is another example of a translation, not transliteration. The "C" and "H" when put together in English make a "Ch" sound as on "Chosen", but in Hebrew the ח (chet) or כ (caf/chaf) letters make what is often both translated and transliterated as a sound that does not exist in English standard formats. This is also true of Arabic. Iljhgtn (talk) 00:48, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::I do not speak Hebrew so I can't really comment on this with 100% certainty, but what I've been doing is putting the Hebrew spellings into Google Translate which automatically provides a pronunciation. The pronunciations it has given me sound very similar to the Latin spellings and as such I would say that makes them transliterations. When it comes to translating names I'm not fully sure what you mean as that's not really something you can do with people's names: the only thing you can do is transliterate. Alas, we can continue this discussion tomorrow if needed. harrz talk 00:53, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::::Google translate is not perfect for these purposes by any stretch, especially when it comes to the nuance of a chet or caf/khaf. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:38, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Maybe provide me the exact links of where you are hearing certain names and I can tell you if it is accurate or not. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:39, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Iljhgtn, listen to what harrz is telling you, and stop insisting that these are translations; they are not. The translation of "יהונתן שטיינברג" is not "'Yonatan Steinberg", but rather "Jonathan Stonemountain". (Or if you want to take it all the way: "God has given Stone mountain".) If you would like to use R from translation on the Jonathan Stonemountain article, that would be fine. Your follow-up comments on Nechemya Cohen are completely off base, and the assertion about "translation" of a letter is linguistic nonsense. If you disagree, please take it up somewhere like WT:WikiProject Languages and get consensus for your point of view. Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 11:25, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:If my understanding is not what the consensus on Wikipedia currently holds, then I will use the transliteration tag. I am not trying to go against consensus. All I could account for was my understanding of both Hebrew and English and what made sense to me. @Harrz mentioned that the transliteration tag was a new tag as well and I'd never heard anyone make this argument prior to now, but not to worry. I don't have an interest in forging ahead against the will of what is apparently consensus on translation or transliteration.
:Some guidance though around the nuance or what I got wrong would be helpful though so that I do not inadvertently get it wrong going forward. Iljhgtn (talk) 14:27, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::The simplest way to say what you got wrong is that you don't understand the difference between translation and transliteration. If you need some help on that, I found two blog posts (1 2) which explain it pretty well. Hope that helps, harrz talk 17:07, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::What is the template that you recommended that I use now? R from transliteration? Iljhgtn (talk) 18:09, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::I accidentally made a handful more with the translation template out of habit, but then stopped and tried to use the R to transliteration template and found that it does not have very easy to understand parameters like the translation template has. That one had the origin language and the destination language. The transliteration template on the other hand has "id" and various boxes which I am not familiar with or didn't use on the prior template if you can help me out @Harrz or @Mathglot?
::::I am trying this נשים עושות שלום as the latest example to get right. If you fix it, then I can use that as an example of what it should look like for all redirects from here on out. Iljhgtn (talk) 18:32, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::The only parameter to need to use for R to transliteration is the first one, which is the language code. For Hebrew, you should put
. However, the example you have used is actually a translation, not a transliteration. Are you sure you understand the difference between them? harrz talk 18:57, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::I use visual editor, does that make a difference? You are citing your example with source editor I think. Iljhgtn (talk) 19:01, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::::For translations, should I continue to use the "R from alternative language" tag? I understand the difference. Iljhgtn (talk) 19:02, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Also, what if I just made these as redirects without any tag? There are many of those that exist out in the Wikiuniverse as well. What are your thoughts? Iljhgtn (talk) 19:04, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::I always use tags just because uncategorised redirects are uninformative. WP:RCAT states that "redirects should be placed in one of several maintenance categories". harrz talk 19:07, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::I will then use one of those two. R from alternative language, or R to transliteration. Iljhgtn (talk) 19:08, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::::Great, thanks for understanding! harrz talk 19:09, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::::::::Thanks. I will archive this now, but I will just ping you directly in the future if I have a question. Iljhgtn (talk) 19:32, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
::::::::Yes, for translations use R from alternative language and for transliterations use R to transliteration. harrz talk 19:05, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
:::::::::OK. I got this. Iljhgtn (talk) 19:06, 14 January 2025 (UTC)
Rcats (redux)
The other thread got archived before I could respond, but you asked if you could just leave out Rcats. I tend to agree with Harrz's response, but I wanted to add that if you ever find yourself in a situation where you are not sure what Rcat to use and you don't wish to wait for a response to a question about it, then it is fine to just leave it out, and save the redirect with only the rcats you are sure of, or no Rcats. Hope this helps, Mathglot (talk) 08:06, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
:OK @Mathglot that is logical. Iljhgtn (talk) 16:03, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
Replaceable non-free use File:Rickshaw Boy book cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading :File:Rickshaw Boy book cover.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text Di-replaceable non-free use disputed below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing
<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file's talk page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on [ this link]. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. 廣九直通車 (talk) 11:24, 26 January 2025 (UTC)

:Trappist the monk - I think this person may explain the rationale for these templates better.
:One thing I remember is that non-English texts must be surrounded by "lang" templates so that various bots recognize non-English texts and will e.g. not do spell-checking, or do language-specific spell-checking, etc. Of course, you will see not only thousands but tens of thousands of examples accumulated for 20+ years of wikipedia, and the development of these "lang" templates is also a very long thing, standardized only recently . ::::The ping worked; it does not matter that I don't have a user page.
::::
::::Not just spelling. The primary purpose of lang and langx is to create correctly marked up html so that browsers can choose a correct font for non-English text display and so that screen readers can apply proper accents and pronunciation for the non-English words that they speak.
::::
::::At the top of every en.wiki page there is this:

:::::
::::The browser can treat all of that as English text. Likely it won't because Hebrew it pretty recognizable, but the html standard requires non-English text to be marked up as non-English. To accomplish that the langx template does this:
:::::
::::The template wraps the Hebrew text in a span tag that identifies the Hebrew text as Hebrew that reads right-to-left.

Counting links
Sorry, I just saw your question from 10 days ago. Special:WhatLinksHere gives a list of every page using a redirect, and when the number is that small, it is easy to count them manually. WhatamIdoing (talk) 17:24, 13 March 2025 (UTC)
:@WhatamIdoing I was asking how you can see what other people are actually viewing. Not how you can tell what redirects link to a main article. Do you know the answer to this question? Iljhgtn (talk) 12:55, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
::"How do you see whom has used the redirect and how many times etc.?" Iljhgtn (talk) 12:55, 24 March 2025 (UTC)
:::When the page exists, you can use https://pageviews.wmcloud.org to see how many times a redirect has been used. You can't, however, tell who has used it (not even, e.g., aggregate counts of reader vs logged-in editors). WhatamIdoing (talk) 22:35, 24 March 2025 (UTC)

March 2025
File:Information.svg Thank you for contributing the page :Юлия Фельдман to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. It has been listed at Pages needing translation into English, but if it is not translated within two weeks, the article may be listed for deletion. I have nominated your article for deletion. If you want to contest this deletion, go to the AfD discussion page 54rt678 (talk) 22:26, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
:I commendted on the AfD discussion page. You are nominating a redirect using a foreign language for a foreign language subject. I am not sure if there is an error in your nomination? Iljhgtn (talk) 22:30, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
::it is not a common english phrase 54rt678 (talk) 22:36, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
:::It is a transliterated name. There are literally hundreds of thousands of those. I am so confused. Iljhgtn (talk) 22:37, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
::::this is an english wiki 54rt678 (talk) 22:43, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
:::::I am aware. That does not mean that foreign language redirects are prohibited. The whole point of a redirect of such content is in fact to redirect the reader to the English language equivalent and away from the foreign language on Wikipedia. Iljhgtn (talk) 22:56, 31 March 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of :Юлия Фельдман
A tag has been placed on :Юлия Фельдман, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a foreign language article that has essentially the same content as an article on another Wikimedia Foundation project. Please see Wikipedia:Translation to learn about requests for, and coordination of, translations from foreign-language Wikipedias into English.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the , or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
Good idea to remove that last para in the intro
The reason I had inserted that para long ago was because I disliked the part of the intro that made the Act sound like the best environmental legislation ever. I am very hesitant to ever delete anything on wikipedia, so as not to make enemies. But I wanted to alert the reader that there were indeed controversies and challenges. Since you were brave enough a few days ago to delete the laudatory sentence implied by Tennessee Valley Authority v. Hill, nothing else was needed. As you said in your note, "Readers can simply read the content." So, good job again! Cbarlow (talk) 20:01, 3 April 2025 (UTC)
:Thank you. I think you are doing great as well. Don't be a stranger. Iljhgtn (talk) 21:19, 3 April 2025 (UTC)

Bolded votes on deletion pages
Taking this here because there's no need to further clog up the deletion page on Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/2021_Tapuah_Junction_shooting
No one else should edit your comments. But it seems it would be appropriate for you to un-bold you additional comments for clarity that you only have a single vote.
Also, the common approach if you change your vote is to cross it out using

Thanks for attempting to have this discussion. It was really frustrating just to read let alone be involved in, the amount of Wikilawyering and bad faith arguments used in discussions around this topic is insane. I would also like to see the guidelines formalised. It is maddening to be told "actually the process is to have arguments about this on every single Wikipedia page". It's also very maddening to see this from an administrator. This is why people quit Wikipedia. Poketama (talk) 05:39, 14 April 2025 (UTC)

File:Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, discussion pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at :Wikipedia:Teahouse, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 15:02, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
:I removed my own comment over at the Teahouse because the question had been answered. You could just notify me if that is a "bad practice", no need to template or tier 1 warn me over it. Iljhgtn (talk) 15:03, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
::The template above serves exactly that purpose (notifying you). Cordless Larry (talk) 15:06, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
:::Please see WP:DTTR. You could just as well have made a comment if that is your preference that comments made by a user, not be removed by a user, even if fully and satisfactorily answered. Is that standard practice for all of the Tea House, or just @Cordless Larry's preference by the way? Iljhgtn (talk) 15:08, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
::::It's standard practice, as with other discussion pages, to leave answered comments to be archived. WP:DTTR is just an essay, by the way; if I'd have left you a comment, it would have said pretty much the same as the template. Cordless Larry (talk) 15:10, 19 April 2025 (UTC)
:::::Noted. I will not remove a comment then on the Tea House again, even if it was a comment that I started and that has been fully answered. The bots can just archive them when the time has come. Iljhgtn (talk) 15:13, 19 April 2025 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
File:Wikipedia New page reviewer.svg
Hi Iljhgtn, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right to your account. This means you now have access to the page curation tools and can start patrolling pages from the new pages feed. If you asked for this at requests for permissions, please check back there to see if your access is time-limited or if there are other comments.
This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol. Before you get started, please take the time to:
- Add Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol/Reviewers to your watchlist to follow NPP-related discussions
- If you use Twinkle, configure it to log your CSDs and PRODs
- If you can read any languages other than English, add yourself to the list of reviewers with language proficiencies
You can find a list of other useful links and tools for patrollers at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Resources. If you are ever unsure what to do, ask your fellow patrollers or just leave the page for someone else to review – you're not alone! Callanecc (talk • contribs • logs) 04:31, 21 April 2025 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Deletion review/Log/2025 April 16
I suggest you tone it down. If your intent is to persuade people of the merits of your argument, i’m afraid you are not succeeding. If your intent is to devalue the options you disagree with then that is a waste of time. Spartaz Humbug! 07:33, 22 April 2025 (UTC)
:I appreciate your comment. My intent I would hope is obviously the former and not the latter, even if "failing". Regardless, it would seem as if the endorse-side is presently in the numerical majority, so I suspect that the article will remain deleted, even if their arguments are not supported by WP:P&G, especially pertaining to notability of the subject and a clear-eyed evaluation of the sources. I have no strong interest either way, and so if it remains deleted, so be it. I only felt that the arguments for keeping it were far more articulate and well supported by both policy and guidelines than the inverse. Iljhgtn (talk) 12:47, 22 April 2025 (UTC)

Hi, for this addition to Esther Lurie and other similar edits, please use the parameters native_name and native_name_lang parameters for inserting the person's name in their own language. Hi, I left a message for you at Talk:Israel Frey regarding changes that you made.
Also, I'm not sure what you meant by this edit summary . Hi,
Following up on this: User talk:Iljhgtn/Archive 2025#Israel Frey

Redirects in Hebrew
Please stop creating redirects in Hebrew script. We don't do that and I've request more input about it from the community. Zerotalk 01:53, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
:What do you mean we don't do that? I've made tens of thousands of them over the years. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:54, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
::A single instance for a subject where Hebrew (or any other language for that matter) is the primary language that the subject matter is recognized in is regularly and commonly done. Where is this discussion involving, "more input about it from the community" occurring? I'd like to be a part of that. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:56, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
:::If you can point to a policy or guideline that prohibits this practice I will gladly abide by it. Iljhgtn (talk) 02:04, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
::::To be clear, I don’t want to get involved, but here’s the discussion: WP:Village pump (policy)#Redirects in native script. Best, GoldRomean (talk) 02:52, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the Ctopics/aware template.
}} Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 00:02, 1 June 2025 (UTC):For the other Golan specific reverts you made today, can you link to the consensus on each of those pages that was formed to add the piece of text that I removed please? Consensus cannot be simply made in one discussion and then apply across a whole batch of articles without individual consensus for the material to be added to each. Templates might be an exception. This was not a template. If it becomes apparent that there is an absence of individual consensus evidence for each of the articles in question, then please self revert. Also, the consensus should be void of any of the previously mentioned topic banned accounts for it to be valid. There is a lot of so called "consensus" that might have been formed by coordinated actions and topic banned accounts which will need to be restored to previous versions of pages, even if years old. Iljhgtn (talk) 01:08, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Israel_Palestine_Collaboration/Current_Article_Issues/Archive._Legality_of_Israeli_settlements#(Settlements)_Legality_and_edit_warring
No new consensus has been established to remove it. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 16:45, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
:That is either wrong or deliberately misleading framing. I looked at your links, and I was shocked to learn that actually there was "no consensus" for the inclusion of this boilerplate from 2012. Per Wikipedia:ONUS, you will need to argue for and justify why the text needs to be included systematically on each page by itself, or gain wide new consensus. There is currently NO consensus for including the illegality phrase. Iljhgtn (talk) 22:40, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
:::There was a consensus to ad the sentence, then there was a new discussion were there were no new consensus to remove the sentence. If you would like to remove it then start a new centralized discussion. --Supreme Deliciousness (talk) 05:24, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::::I think that would make sense, where would you suggest doing so? Also, how come you and Zero0000 commented within 2 minutes of each other on my talk page by the way? Iljhgtn (talk) 05:29, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::::: Actually we didn't. Zerotalk 09:47, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
:: The near-universal use of the sentence indicates a strong consensus. Anyway, you are looking at it the wrong way around. This sentence reduces the text about legality in articles about individual settlements. It is obvious that the legality is a primary focus of sources and is fair game for articles. Without this boilerplate, articles will start to sprout whole paragraphs or more on the topic. We made this consensus to prevent this from happening and restrict extended discussion of legality to articles where settlements in general are a central topic. It is also true that the sentence is relevant and reliably sourced so even without a consensus there is nothing to stop it from being added. Zerotalk 03:18, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
:::The sentence might be true, but would need to be evaluated for due weight, and also would need to be individually discussed for each page to determine if inclusion was warranted. Regardless, I read the prior cited discussions, and "no consensus" was literally the result. Iljhgtn (talk) 03:27, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::::@Zero0000, I know it is your prerogative in choosing what to edit, but weren't you warned for your involvement and behavior on this topic by arbcom not long ago? I know that is not the same thing as a topic ban, but I don't know, seems like playing with fire to me. Iljhgtn (talk) 03:36, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::::: Quit the personal remarks right now. "No consensus" is not the same as consensus for the opposite. At WP:NOCON you can read "the common (but not required) result [of 'no consensus'] is to retain the version of the article as it was prior to the proposal or bold edit". Since practically every source on the settlements in the western press or academic publications mentions their legal status, it would be a major NPOV violation to not mention it in articles. Claiming that even one sentence is undue is something you can try, but you won't succeed. And, no, relevant sourced content does not need to be discussed before inclusion. Start a new central discussion if you want. Zerotalk 05:12, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
::::::Stop your threats. Get off my talk page and do not come back. Your demeanor and condescending attitude is completely unwelcome. Iljhgtn (talk) 05:28, 2 June 2025 (UTC)
