Category: Transaction processing
Several of the articles which you added to :Category:Transaction processing were already categorized in :Category:Concurrency control or :Category:Concurrency, both of which are supercategories of :Category:Transaction processing. Indeed, the articles in question generally deal with concepts that, while relevant to transaction processing, are more broadly relevant to concurrency control or concurrency in general. If an article can legitimately be moved into a subcategory, it makes sense to do so. But duplicate categorization (category and subcategory applied to a single article) is usually considered a bad idea. --Allan McInnes (talk) 18:57, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
:Hi Allan - thanks for your explanation about the guidelines for categories, which I have now studied further. I did give some thought as to which concurrency topics to put under TP, and I agree that it's a tricky decision in some cases. It would probably be best to move this discussion to Category_talk:Transaction_processing, so please see my further comments there. JCLately 07:49, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
Impeach George Bush?
You have GOT to be kidding me. This is not blatantly biased. Tell me, oh non-biased impeacher, where this movement to impeach George Bush is mainstream. Timneu22 18:08, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
:Thanks for moving this discussion to Talk:Movement to impeach George W. Bush#Battle of the Intro - Aug 4, where you have my reply. - JCLately 23:07, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
